Private clinic hosted by Windcroft Farm and Rebecca Blikslager
This style of clinic is designed to combine the obstacle
phase of Sport Horse Versatility, expose horses to group social interactions and
delve into the concept of refinement in riding.
3rd, Saturday - Sport Horse Versatility Clinic with Linda Hoover
Hosted by Jack and Claudia Coomb of Green Ridge Farm, Fremont, NC (near Wilson).
Sessions begin at 9am.
Participation fee: $90 for a two-hour group session. Approx. 5 riders per session.

Here is an opportunity to put your dressage skills to work in the Working Phase of SHV. Take a turn over the obstacle course. Cross a bridge, go thru a maze, walk thru a narrow corridor and more. Linda Hoover will be on hand to discuss SHV and provide tips on how to present obstacles to your horse.
Schooling fee: $25 for unlimited schooling.

July 26, Saturday - Horse Shows...from the warm-up to the award ceremony
Summertime Blues Dressage Show - Williamston, NC 6:30 pm in the coliseum arena.
Sponsored by North Carolina Dressage and Combined Training Association.
Linda Hoover will hold an educational session to help exhibitors better understand how to make the showing experience more positive for their horses. Working with a small group of demonstration riders, Linda will take them through a number of situations designed to help the horses become more comfortable in the show environment. An emphasis will be placed on developing social skills among the horses, strategies for spooky areas of the arena and preparing the horse for the award ceremony.
